Italian poetry festivals and literary events announced

Various cultural and poetry events are scheduled across Italy. In Sardinia, the XXII edition of the Cabudanne de sos poetas festival is preparing for its main program, themed ‘Sguardi Meridiani’. The preview includes the presentation of Nanni Falconi’s new book, ‘Uomini e trincee’, and a theatrical workshop for children led by Teatro delle Albe exploring Bertolt Brecht’s ‘The Child's Crusade’.

In Sicily, the ‘Radice Poesia’ series, curated by Grazia Calanna, will feature works by poets from the Etna region. The event, held at Villa Manganelli Biscari in Viagrande, is linked to the documentary project ‘Il Vulcano che scrive’, directed by Vladimir Di Prima, which explores the connection between Mount Etna and Sicilian literary imagination.
