Italian police seize drugs and cash in a series of anti‑drug raids

On 19 June 2026 Carabinieri in Cascinette d’Ivrea arrested a 30‑year‑old man and his 40‑year‑old partner, confiscating 57.77 g of heroin, 19 g of cocaine, 69 g of hashish, 197 g of methadone and more than €8,000 in cash.

A separate operation in Giugliano, Campania, led to the arrest of an 18‑year‑old who tried to discard drugs by throwing a bag from a balcony. Police recovered about 260 g of hashish/marijuana and €3,480 in cash.

In Cremona, officers stopped a Volvo, pursued its occupants and seized a packet of roughly 22 g of hashish; a 20‑year‑old Romanian was charged with possession for sale.

The Mobile Squad’s June 24 blitz in the Veneto region captured two Moroccan men, uncovering four kilograms of hashish, nearly 80 g of cocaine and more than €115,000 in cash across two apartments.

Carabinieri and local police in Alzate Brianza also raided a known street‑level dealer’s hideout, seizing five doses of cocaine, 31 g of hashish, a precision scale, packaging material and €275 in cash, and arrested the suspect and a host who facilitated the operation.
