Italian police arrest drug suspects in San Benedetto del Tronto and Bergamo

In San Benedetto del Tronto, police arrested a 33‑year‑old Albanian man after monitoring a bar suspected of drug dealing. Officers seized nearly 100 g of cocaine, €2,700 in cash, a Volkswagen containing an additional 100 g of cocaine, and drug‑packaging equipment from his residence.

In Bergamo, a 38‑year‑old Peruvian citizen was detained following threatening behaviour. A search uncovered about 468 g of marijuana, €16,000 in cash, precision scales and other tools for drug packaging. A second individual, an Italian man, was charged with intimidation and had an air‑soft rifle and a baseball bat seized.

Both arrests were confirmed by local judges, who imposed regular police reporting requirements on the suspects.
