Tunisian Man Arrested for Stabbing Victim in Guidonia, Italy

A 43‑year‑old Tunisian national was arrested in Guidonia, near Rome, after being identified as the assailant in a knife attack on a man waiting outside a shop with his wife and two children. The victim, identified as 22‑year‑old Matteo D’Ambrosio from Tivoli, was stabbed in the back and suffered life‑threatening injuries before undergoing emergency surgery. Police captured the suspect after locating him near the Rustica area, where he attempted to flee. Surveillance footage and witness statements helped secure the arrest, and the suspect now faces charges of aggravated attempted homicide.
