Italian police arrest suspects in Genoa home burglary and Umbria domestic‑violence case

In Genoa, police responded to a 112 call after a homeowner discovered two men inside her villa. The intruders, aged 30 and 27, fled but left clothing and lights on. Officers tracked them, recovered about €600 in cash and phones containing photos and videos taken inside the home, and placed the men in custody pending a direct trial.

In Penna in Teverina, Umbria, a woman escaped to a public park and called 112 to report a violent assault by her husband. Carabinieri found her in distress, secured medical aid, and then located and arrested her husband inside their house. A judge ordered his pre‑trial detention in Terni jail, citing strong evidence of domestic abuse.

Both incidents resulted in arrests by Italian police forces after emergency calls from the victims.
