Italian police arrest suspects in separate theft incidents
Police in Italy have conducted several operations targeting theft and organized crime in different regions.
In Monza, two individuals were arrested for the aggravated theft of champagne valued at 439 euros from a supermarket. Authorities also recovered eight bottles of premium spirits and 1,300 euros in cash from their vehicle. The suspects face charges of aggravated theft and receiving stolen goods. Additionally, five other individuals were reported for possessing burglary tools, including crowbars, found in a vehicle. The Questore of Monza and Brianza has imposed a three-year ban on these individuals from the municipality of Monza.
In Caivano, Carabinieri arrested three individuals, including a 15-year-old, following a jewelry store robbery. The suspects allegedly stole precious items valued at approximately 22,000 euros. Investigators linked the group to a series of thefts involving jewelry and cigarettes across the Caserta and Naples areas. The suspects reportedly used a stolen Audi S3 to flee the scene. Police recovered the stolen goods after tracking the group to a property in Castel Volturno, where they attempted to transfer the items to another vehicle before fleeing on foot.
