Italian police arrest youths for drug offenses in San Severino and Cassino

In San Severino, Carabinieri investigations revealed that a young man riding an electric scooter under the influence of cannabinoids entered a one‑way street against traffic and collided. The driver, a resident of Valfornace, was found with two doses of hashish (about 1 gram) for personal use, had his licence suspended and was reported to the Prefecture of Macerata.

In Cassino, Carabinieri and local police arrested a 19‑year‑old of Egyptian origin in Piazza Miranda while he was handing out hashish to two peers. Officers seized roughly 46 grams of hashish, €25 in cash and equipment for packaging the drugs. The suspect was placed under house arrest and ordered to report daily to the judicial police.

Both incidents are part of ongoing anti‑drug operations by Italian law‑enforcement agencies in the regions of Marche and Lazio.
