Italian police confiscate mafia‑linked villa and Boscoreale boatyard in crackdown

The Italian financial police (Guardia di Finanza) executed a court‑ordered seizure of a villa, garage and more than 900 sqm of land in the province of Siena, valued at about €600,000. The properties were linked to a person associated with the Tegano‑De Stefano ‘Ndrangheta clan, following investigations that deemed the assets a qualified social danger.

In a separate operation, authorities sealed a 1,300 sqm nautical yard in Boscoreale, near Naples. Investigators from the Port Authority and Carabinieri Ecological Unit found the site was used for unlicensed shipbuilding and the illegal discharge of industrial waste into the Sarno river system, bypassing proper treatment facilities. The yard was sealed and the area was sealed off to stop further pollution.

Both actions are part of broader anti‑organized‑crime and environmental‑crime efforts by Italian law‑enforcement agencies.
