Italian police impose dozens of bans and fines in Caserta and Sicily operations

In Caserta, the Questura’s anti‑crime division concluded a summer‑long enforcement campaign by issuing 25 urban "Daspo" return bans for individuals deemed dangerous, 9 warnings for gender‑based violence, and a total of more than 40 measures including restrictions on illegal parking and bans on violent football supporters.

Meanwhile, Carabinieri units in Camporotondo Etneo and San Pietro Clarenza carried out intensified checks along main roads, inspecting 25 people and 18 vehicles. The operation led to the seizure of a knife and scissors from a driver, who was placed under house arrest, and generated administrative fines exceeding €13,200 for numerous traffic violations. Vehicles were also seized where required.

Both actions demonstrate coordinated local policing aimed at curbing public disorder, illegal parking, street violence and road safety infractions.
