Italian police impose restraining order on Sora man for domestic abuse
The State Police in Sora, Italy, obtained a court order that bars a resident man from approaching his wife’s home and any places she frequents, setting a minimum distance of 1,000 metres. The measure follows a police investigation that uncovered repeated abusive conduct, including threatening and aggressive behaviour that caused the victim psychological suffering. The preliminary investigation judge approved the order to prevent further offences and protect the victim’s safety. The enforcement involved the Mobile Squad of the Teramo police, who located the suspect in a nearby municipality and applied the restriction.
