Two men arrested in Catania for drive‑in drug‑dealing operation

The State Police’s Mobile Squad in Catania arrested two local men, a 30‑year‑old and a 44‑year‑old, on suspicion of possession of narcotics for trafficking. The operation targeted a “drive‑in” drug‑selling point in the San Giovanni Galermo district, where buyers paid from their vehicles while a accomplice on a rooftop supplied the drugs via bags lowered on a rope.

During the raid police seized 34 g of marijuana, 30 g of cocaine and crack packaged in 84 sealed units, €185 in cash and a radio transmitter used for communication.
