Italian police seize narcotics in Cingoli and Pimentel operations

Italian authorities have conducted separate drug-related operations in Cingoli and Pimentel, resulting in arrests and seizures.

In Cingoli, Carabinieri arrested a 26-year-old construction worker after discovering over 170 grams of narcotics. The seizure included 39 grams of marijuana, 35 grams of cocaine, and 97 grams of cannabis wax found in a refrigerator. Police also recovered packaging materials and mobile phones used for illegal activities. The suspect has been placed under house arrest.

In Pimentel, police reported a 45-year-old man for the possession of marijuana and a small indoor cannabis cultivation setup consisting of 15 plants and specialized lighting. This follows a recent discovery in the area of a larger plantation containing approximately 350 cannabis plants, which was identified after an illegal water connection was detected in the region.
