Italian political figures launch books on the Constitution and Resistance

Former European Parliament member and two‑time former mayor of Naples, Luigi De Magistris, presented his new book "Attuare la Costituzione" at the San Nicola Church in Gesualdo on 2 August. The event, attended by local mayor Domenico Forgione and Radio CRT host Antonio De Feo, highlighted De Magistris’s criticism of the Italian political establishment for neglecting constitutional principles.

On 7 August, the book "Ennio Carando. Un filosofo nella Resistenza" by Giorgio Pagano was launched at the Casa del Popolo in Montaretto. The presentation, organized by the local ARCI circle, featured a dialogue between the author and Roberto Lamma and commemorated the life of Ennio Carando, a philosopher and resistance fighter killed by fascists in 1945. The event underscored Carando’s role in the anti‑fascist movement and his legacy as an educator and moral leader.
