Italian political groups form coalitions for 2027 elections

Various political groups in Italy are forming coalitions ahead of the 2027 administrative elections. In Chiavari, five political forces—Partito Democratico, Movimento 5 Stelle, Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra, Ora il Futuro, and Civici per Chiavari – Casa Riformista—have announced a collaborative path to develop a shared program. The group aims to present itself as an alternative to the current administration and right-wing parties, emphasizing an inclusive approach involving local associations and economic entities.

In Riccione, Riccione Coraggiosa and Sinistra Italiana have also joined forces to create a common list for the upcoming elections. Their platform focuses on progressive and ecological actions, including strengthening local welfare services through a new public person services agency, continuing investments in the Riccione Energy Community, and improving urban green spaces and peripheral neighborhoods through citizen involvement.
