Italian political polls show Fratelli d’Italia leading as center-right and center-left narrow the gap

Recent political polling in Italy indicates a shifting landscape between the center-right and center-left coalitions. Fratelli d’Italia remains the leading party, holding approximately 27.5% to 27.6% of the vote. While the party has seen a recent recovery in support, the gap between the center-right and the center-left is narrowing.

On the center-left side, the Partito Democratico (PD) shows a slight decline, hovering around 20.1%. The Movimento 5 Stelle (M5S) is experiencing growth, reaching approximately 12.7%. Within the center-left coalition, a poll regarding primary elections shows Giuseppe Conte favored by 56.7% of voters compared to 43.3% for Elly Schlein.

Other party movements include Futuro Nazionale, which has seen its growth stabilize or slightly decline to around 7.3% to 7.4%, a level comparable to Forza Italia. The Lega has also seen a decline, while smaller parties such as Azione and Italia Viva have reported marginal increases in support.
