Italy political polls show Meloni and Fratelli d'Italia leading

Recent political polls in Italy indicate a stable lead for Giorgia Meloni and Fratelli d’Italia, which maintains its position as the primary party with support ranging between 26.6% and 27.8%. The center-right coalition is showing strength, particularly following the inclusion of Cateno De Luca’s Sud chiama Nord, which has allowed the coalition to closely rival the progressive Campo Largo bloc.

In contrast, the Partito Democratico (PD) shows signs of fluctuation, with polling figures placing it between 20% and 21%. The Movimento 5 Stelle remains a significant third force, holding approximately 11% to 12.7% of the vote. Meanwhile, the Futuro Nazionale party, led by Roberto Vannacci, appears to have halted its growth, with recent data showing a slight decline to around 6.8% to 7.7%.

Simulations regarding a potential leadership contest within the center-left suggest a competitive race. In a hypothetical primary between Giuseppe Conte and Elly Schlein, Conte leads with 42% compared to Schlein’s 38%. In direct head-to-head matchups for the Presidency of the Council, Meloni holds a significant advantage over Schlein (56% to 44%), though the gap narrows considerably when facing Conte.
