Italian regional excellence showcased in Guidonia and Turin

Various Italian cultural and agricultural initiatives are set to highlight regional excellence through late September 2026.

In Guidonia Montecelio, the ‘Festival delle Eccellenze Italiane’ will take place from September 25 to 27 at Parco della Fenice. Organized by the ‘Azione Cittadina’ and ‘Happy Place’ associations, the event features music, sports, and food. The program includes presentations from local sports clubs like Villalba Ocres Moca and ViviVillalba, alongside musical tributes to artists such as Ultimo and Annalisa.

Simultaneously, the ‘Limone della Piana di Bagheria’ will be showcased at the Salone del Gusto – Terra Madre 2026 in Turin from September 24 to 27. This marks the first time the Sicilian lemon variety is being presented at this international Slow Food event. The participation aims to promote local biodiversity, agriculture, and the social history of the Bagheria district. The delegation also serves to preview the ‘Bio in Sicily’ event and the upcoming ‘Bagheria Capitale Mondiale della Granita 2027’ project.
