Italian regional leaders strengthen local ties and cultural projects

In Italy, regional leaders are engaging in diplomatic and cultural exchanges to bolster local development and heritage.

Piedmont Governor Alberto Cirio visited Diano Marina to meet with Mayor Cristiano Za Garibaldi. Cirio praised the city's recent revitalization efforts and tourism relaunch, specifically highlighting the development of the Ciclovia Tirrenica infrastructure. The visit aimed to strengthen the historical economic and cultural ties between the Piedmont and Liguria regions.

Simultaneously, Jesi Mayor Lorenzo Fiordelmondo met with Lucera Mayor Giuseppe Pitta during the 43rd Torneo delle Chiavi. The meeting focused on renewing a friendship pact dating back to 1970 and discussing the executive project for the future Stupor Mundi Museum within the Palatium of Federico II. This collaboration is part of an initiative to create a network of cities linked to the legacy of Federico II.
