Italian regional motorsport: Motocross in Chiusdino and Karting in Messina

Regional motorsport events are underway in Italy, featuring both motocross and karting competitions.

At the Chiusdino MX Park, the penultimate round of the 2026 Tuscan Motocross Championship saw over 120 riders compete. The event featured intense interregional competition between Tuscan and Umbrian riders across various categories. Notable winners included Vincenzo Spanò in MX1 Veteran, Maurizio Ghezzi in MX1 Master, and Alice Dello Sbarba in the female category. The season will conclude with a grand finale in Ponte a Egola.

In Sicily, the Kartodromo di Messina is set to host the sixth round of the 2026 Sprint SWS Championship on October 10. The event will feature 47 drivers across three categories: F1, F2, and F3. Pietro Grima currently leads the F1 standings with 9,489 points, followed by Riccardo Irrera and Massimiliano D’Angelo.
