Pardossi 24‑Hour Soccer Tournament Kicks Off in Pontedera
The ASD Pardossi organized a 24‑hour football tournament in the Pontedera frazione of Pardossi. Twelve women's five‑a‑side teams began play on Friday 19 June at 21:00, with matches running continuously for 24 hours and the final held the following evening at the same time. The event follows a previous men's seven‑a‑side competition held earlier in the month and will be followed by a third round on 26‑27 June featuring 32 men's five‑a‑side teams.
On Sunday 21 June a non‑competitive running event took place in the nearby Romito area. Participants gathered at the Circolo Arci Il Romito and could choose from 3 km, 6 km, 12 km or 18 km routes. The walk is part of the inter‑provincial running calendar, counting as the 14th Sandro Cappelli Trophy and the 11th Moreno Turini Trophy.
