Italian regional youth orientation programs conclude under EU Social Fund

A series of youth orientation events funded by the EU Social Fund wrapped up in Italy. In Dolceacqua, Liguria, the final session of the "Orientamenti Summer" programme attracted over 60 participants, bringing the total attendance across nine meetings to more than 3,000 students and families. Regional officials, including Marco Scajola, regional assessor for the European Social Fund, praised the high turnout as evidence of the programme’s value for helping young people choose their study paths.

Meanwhile, the Istituto Comprensivo “Socrate‑Mallardo” in Marano (Campania) completed the "Inseguendo il nastro rosa" project, which combined aerial techniques, theatre and dance for primary‑school pupils. Funded by the same European Social Fund, the initiative culminated in a public performance that showcased the students’ creativity and confidence. Both projects illustrate how regional authorities are using EU resources to support educational guidance and personal development for Italian youth.
