Italian regions seek increased national healthcare funding

In Molise, Alessandra Salvatore, leader of the Democratic Party in the Regional Council, has noted that the Conference of Regions is now formally requesting increased resources for the national health service. Salvatore stated that this demand aligns with a previously rejected legislative proposal by the Molise Regional Council intended to seek higher funding for the national and regional healthcare systems.

The exact amount of additional funding to be requested from the national government has not yet been determined. The quantification of these resources is expected to be discussed next week during a meeting between the Health and Finance Commissions of the Conference of Regions.
