Italian Riviera hosts a series of art exhibitions in August

On Saturday, 8 August, the Museo della Marineria “Alberto Gianni” in Viareggio opened Annamaria Buonamici’s solo show “Il suono del vento”. The exhibition, featuring the artist’s layered glass‑resin technique, will remain open to the public free of charge until 30 August.

Other Riviera towns are also presenting contemporary art this weekend. Albenga’s Frantoio Sommariva will host the inaugural solo exhibition of former teacher Marco Cammi, while Finale Ligure continues to display the permanent show of Nenne Sanguineti Poggi at the Fortezza di Castelfranco. In Laigueglia, Sara Sabatini’s “Salsedine” opens at the IAT office, and Alassio welcomes Sandrine Carraut’s solo works. A collective titled “Luci e ombre” will be shown in Marmoreo’s old mill as part of the XV edition of “Arte in Campagna”.
