Italian road accidents on July 20 leave nine injured in Treviso and Fermo provinces
On the afternoon of July 20, a serious collision between a car and a van on Via Barse in Gaiarine, Treviso province, trapped the occupants of both vehicles. Rescue teams from the Treviso provincial fire department, helicopter medical services and the Carabinieri worked to free seven people, who were later taken for medical treatment.
In the same day, heavy rain and wind in the province of Fermo caused a large tree branch to fall onto a moving car in Montegranaro’s Guazzetti district. Two occupants suffered light injuries from broken glass. Local police, fire crews and municipal officials, including Mayor Endrio Ubaldi, coordinated the response and monitored further weather risks.
