The Italian rock scene sees new releases from Tenebra and Artemisia.

Tenebra, a quartet from Bologna, has announced their new EP ‘A Death Chant’, scheduled for release on October 9, 2026, via New Heavy Sounds. This project marks an experimental shift for the band, incorporating psychedelic and electronic elements, including synthesizers and acoustic instruments, alongside their established rock sound. The EP serves as a precursor to their upcoming album, ‘The Black Fanfare’, expected in 2027.

Artemisia has released their new album, ‘Frammenti d’Anedonia’. The eight-track work reflects the band’s twenty-year career, blending hard rock, progressive, metal, and folk with dark, gothic influences. The album’s themes center on female figures drawn from myth, history, and art, exploring concepts of pain and resistance.
