Italian rosé aesthetics merge with design in new projects

The intersection of wine aesthetics and design is being highlighted through new projects involving Italian rosé wines. Costaripa has introduced a specialized transparent acrylic ice bucket (glacette) designed specifically for its RosaMara rosé. The product aims to showcase the wine’s distinctive powder pink hue during service, making the color a central element of the table setting.

In Milan, a collaborative event titled ‘Rosé Experience’ brought together the ‘100 Best Italian Rosé’ ranking and the design firm Kerakoll. The installation explored the connection between the varying shades of rosé wines and color in design, noting how the rise of pink tones in fashion and design coincided with the popularity of rosé. The event, held at the Kerakoll Brera Studio, focused on how color serves as a vital component of product identity and communication in the wine industry.
