Italian rosé wine festivals spotlight growth in Sicily and Puglia
The fifth edition of the Nodo Rosé festival took place in Realmonte, Sicily, drawing thousands of attendees to the beachfront venue at the Nodo Ammare di Lido Rossello. Organized by Fabio Speranza and Marco Gallo, the two‑day event featured a Gran Galà Rosé dinner with ten Sicilian wineries and live music, followed by a beach village where more than twenty producers offered tastings, street food and cultural entertainment. Among the guests was Renato Rovetta, a leading voice on rosé wines.
In Puglia, the boutique winery Azienda Agricola Mazzone, based in Ruvo di Puglia, earned first place in the “100 Best Italian Rosé 2026” guide for its Dandy Nero di Troia Rosé 2025. To celebrate, the winery will host a special event on 31 July 2026, highlighting the wine’s terroir and the region’s wine‑making heritage. Both events illustrate the rising prestige and tourism appeal of Italian rosé wines across the country.
