Italian school programmes fund free diaries and theatre projects

The municipal administration will provide a free, personalized school diary to every student in compulsory education for the upcoming year. The €5,281 purchase will be distributed before the first school bell, and the covers feature designs created by students in a competition.

The regional education department launched the "Focus Teatro" initiative, receiving 266 project proposals from schools. With an allocation of €800,000, 32 projects have been approved for funding up to €25,000 each, aiming to broaden theatrical culture among Sicilian students.
