Italian school supply drives launch in Ravenna and Trapani

In Ravenna, the municipal project “Tutti i bambini e le bambine vanno a scuola” is seeking volunteers to staff a call centre from 31 August to 4 September, handling morning shifts to coordinate donations of backpacks, notebooks and other school supplies for families in need.

In Trapani, the Lions Club is running its third‑year “Zaino Sospeso” campaign, collecting school material at participating stationery stores until November. The initiative invites citizens to donate backpacks, pens, notebooks and other items so that children from vulnerable families can start the school year with the necessary tools.
