Italian schools host events focused on legality and transparency

Educational institutions in Italy are organizing events to promote legality, transparency, and good administration. In Galatina and Maglie, the “Transparency Day for School Institutions” will take place on November 9 and 10. This initiative, involving thirty local schools, aims to discuss anti-corruption, digitalization, and administrative responsibility through dialogue between school leaders, teachers, students, and institutional representatives.

In Licata, a march titled “Licata says NO” is scheduled for November 13. Proposed by city councilor Andrea Burgio, the demonstration seeks to encourage community-wide participation to address local security and legality concerns. Burgio has issued an appeal to schools to participate, framing the march as a practical lesson in civic education and community engagement.
