Jesi hosts inclusion event with Italy Deaf Under-21 volleyball team

The “Sport è Comunicazione” event is currently taking place in Jesi as part of the SAIS 2.0 project (Sensitization, Accessibility, and Independence of Deaf People). The initiative, promoted by the Ente Nazionale Sordi (Ens) Marche and supported by the Municipality of Jesi and the Marche Region, aims to promote autonomy and integration for deaf individuals.

At the PalaTriccoli sports hall, approximately 400 students from various sports high schools across the Marche region—including institutions from Falconara, Jesi, Ascoli Piceno, Porto Sant’Elpidio, San Benedetto del Tronto, Camerino, and Pesaro—participated in the event. The students engaged in training sessions and direct interaction with athletes from the Italian Deaf Under-21 National Men's Volleyball Team.

The program includes expert testimonies, educational discussions, and a friendly match between the Under-21 National Team and the VM Lab team to conclude the event.
