Italian schools implement new blood donation and safety initiatives
In Modica, the Istituto Principe Grimaldi has signed a formal agreement with AVIS Modica to integrate blood donation education into the school curriculum. The partnership, part of a national protocol involving the Ministry of Education and Merit, aims to teach students about solidarity, the importance of donating blood and stem cells, and the values of voluntary service. The initiative will involve fourth and fifth-year students through informative meetings and training projects such as “Donare è un’arte” (Donating is an art).
Separately, in Rho, the San Carlo e San Michele school is set to receive the FIDAE “Scuola Sicura” (Safe School) recognition. This protocol certifies the institution's commitment to student safety, covering physical, legal, and relational standards. The recognition acknowledges the school's efforts to maintain high-quality educational environments and secure facilities for its students.
