Italian schools showcase excellence at Scuola Futura in New York
Italian educational institutions participated in the ‘Scuola Futura New York’ international event held at the Lincoln Center in Manhattan from September 22 to 24, 2026. Promoted by the Ministry of Education and Merit, the initiative provided a platform for Italian students and teachers to showcase educational projects and foster cultural dialogue between Italy and the United States.
Liceo Artistico San Leucio from Caserta was one of only four selected art high schools to represent Italian artistic excellence. Students presented fashion design processes in English, specifically highlighting the historical value of San Leucio silk through a handmade accessory.
Liceo Fanti from Carpi served as an organizing hub for the event, participating alongside ten other regional delegations and the Scuola d’Italia in New York. The delegation engaged in workshops titled ‘Orizzonti’ and ‘Dialoghi,’ which focused on using language to bridge cultural gaps and imagining historical dialogues between Italian figures to connect the two nations' cultural heritages.
