Italian Senate hosts commemorative event for Giuseppe Gori

An institutional event was held at the Italian Senate in Rome to conclude a commemorative project dedicated to Giuseppe Gori, a partisan, poet, and cultural figure from San Miniato. The initiative, promoted by Senator Dario Parrini, included exhibitions, book presentations, concerts, and conferences aimed at bringing Gori’s history and values to a broader audience, particularly younger generations.

The event was attended by a delegation from San Miniato, including Mayor Simone Giglioli, along with various local officials and representatives from associations such as ANPI. The project serves as a continuation of efforts to honor the history of the Resistance and anti-fascism in the San Miniato territory.
