Italian Senior Care Initiatives Launched in Fisciano and Lucca

On 20 June a new senior‑living complex called Vignadonica Senior Co‑Housing was inaugurated in the town of Fisciano (province of Salerno). The facility offers a range of residential options—including Casa Albergo, a protective community and assisted apartments—designed to promote autonomy, social interaction and safety for older residents.

The following day, 19 June, the Cisl Fnp federation opened a new “Punto Salute” desk at its headquarters in Lucca, Tuscany. The service provides pensioners with assistance in accessing health and social‑care services, helping with appointment bookings, electronic health records, ticket information and other bureaucratic hurdles. The desk operates on Wednesdays from 09:30 to 12:30 and aims to reduce waiting‑list delays and digital barriers for senior citizens.
