Italian Serie A2 Hockey League Announces 2026‑27 Schedule and Format

The Italian Serie A2 ice‑track hockey championship for the 2026‑27 season has been officially outlined. Twenty clubs will compete, split into two ten‑team groups, with the regular season opening on 28‑29 November 2025. The first phase begins on 26‑27 September with group‑based Italian Cup matches, followed by semifinals on 9‑10 February 2027 and a final on 7 March.

Promotion playoffs will involve the top four teams from each group, while the bottom three in each group face playouts to avoid relegation to Serie B. Two semifinal winners will earn promotion to Serie A1, and the championship final is scheduled for 22 May 2027. All matches on the final day must be played simultaneously to ensure fairness.
