Italian Serie B clubs Cremonese and Genoa eye new forwards in summer transfer window

Cremonese are looking to free up space in attack by selling Paraguayan striker Antonio Sanabria, whose high wages are deemed unsustainable for a Serie B side. Sporting director Christian Botturi is also considering off‑loading Djuric, with the aim of adding a new forward once the squad is trimmed.

Genoa are focused on securing a centre‑forward, with Roberto Piccoli emerging as the primary target after his under‑whelming spell at Fiorentina. The club is also monitoring Robbie Ure of Sirius and George Ilenikhena of Al Ittihad as alternative options. In addition, Genoa are scouting an offensive winger, with Alan Virginius (Young Boys) and Sorba Thomas (Stoke City) listed as leading candidates.

Both clubs are active in the summer market, seeking to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.
