The deadline was extended to early July, and the offer is expected to be delivered to club president Massimo Faroni imminently. The deal follows Perugia’s recent acquisition of full ownership in September 2024 and comes amid ongoing financial uncertainty for the Serie C side.

Meanwhile, Pescara is close to securing midfielder Gennaro Acampora on a new two‑year contract after earlier stalled talks over salary. The club aims to stabilise its midfield ahead of the new season, while also evaluating other squad additions and potential departures.

Both clubs are working to strengthen their positions in Serie C, with Perugia focusing on ownership consolidation and Pescara on player retention and squad planning.
