Italian Serie D clubs AC Afragolese and FC Turris confirm league entry and new signing

AC Afragolese 1944 received a favourable opinion from the Italian Football Federation after a review of its documentation, confirming the club’s registration for the upcoming Serie D season. The club highlighted the contribution of its staff, players and supporters and said it will focus on competing in the national amateur championship.

FC Turris 1944 announced the signing of defender Frank Amoabeng for the 2026/27 season. Born in 2001 and developed in the Novara youth system, Amoabeng has previously played for Audace Cerignola, Novara, Neuchâtel Xamax, Varesina, Gozzano, Ravenna and Fidelis Andria. The club expects his experience and physical profile to strengthen its defensive line.
