Messina bolsters squad with multiple signings

Messina Football Club announced the acquisition of Romanian midfielder Andrei Tănasă. The 30‑year‑old, born in Iaşi, has played across Serie D and the Swiss third tier, most recently with Pont Donnaz Hône Arnad Evançon, where he recorded five goals and two assists.

The club also completed several other transfers. Midfielder Ciccio Giunta returns after a stint with Giacomo Modica. Brazilian winger Francisco Sartore, previously with Alessandria, Lucchese and Turris, joins to add speed and creativity. Left‑footed winger Alessandro Pellegrino, a former Inter youth product, arrives from Pistoiese. Defender Dramane Konatè, with Serie B experience, is added to strengthen the back line. These moves follow the earlier presentation of striker Manuel Sarao, confirming Messina’s intent to build a competitive roster for the upcoming Serie D season.
