Italian sports clubs begin pre-season training and roster updates
Various Italian sports clubs are beginning their pre-season preparations and roster adjustments for the upcoming 2026-2027 season.
In women's basketball, Magnolia Campobasso has commenced its pre-season training, though several players are currently away on national team duties. The club has also added Patrizia Rinaldi to its technical staff. Meanwhile, Battipaglia has signed 20-year-old guard Laura Del Sole to bolster its Serie A1 roster. GolfoBasket Woman Alcamo is scheduled to begin its preparations on August 24 for the Serie A2 season.
In volleyball, Olio Pantaleo Fasano has gathered its full roster to begin athletic training for its second season in Serie A2. In men's volleyball, Sir Perugia has started its pre-season with five players currently available while others remain with their national teams.
