Italian football: Sampdoria injury crisis and Serie C match results

Italian football updates include a significant injury crisis at Sampdoria. Manager Bernardo Corradi faces a depleted squad ahead of the match against Palermo, with concerns over Mattia Viti's cruciate ligament and issues for players like Esposito and Depaoli. The club is reportedly discussing an extra-budget request to secure two or three new signings before the transfer window closes.

In Serie C, Juve Stabia secured a 2-1 comeback victory against Sampdoria at the Luigi Ferraris stadium. Despite falling behind, the visitors utilized decisive tactical substitutions to overturn the result.

In another Serie C fixture, Vis Pesaro and Perugia played to a 2-2 draw at the Benelli stadium. Perugia took an early lead through a Quirini header, but Vis Pesaro responded with goals from Nicastro and Gambino. Sabbatani secured a late equalizer for Perugia, resulting in a match characterized by multiple lead changes.
