Italian sports update: Mtb Santa Marinella victories and Lago Santo Sky Race

Mtb Santa Marinella has achieved multiple victories across various cycling disciplines. In the Endurance Prestige Italy circuit in Jesolo, Gianfranco Mariuzzo and Fabio Giammarchi secured first and second place in the master 7 category. Giammarchi also claimed the overall master 7 title for the circuit. In cyclocross, Michele Feltre earned two first-place finishes in the supergentlemen B category during events in Vicenza and Villorba. Additionally, Pierluigi Stefanini took second place in the master 7 category in Orte, while Stefano Martinelli and Gianluca Piermattei completed the L’Eroica event in Gaiole in Chianti.

The fifth edition of the Lago Santo Sky Race is set to take place in Sant’Anna. Due to weather risks, the race distances have been reduced, with the main skyrace shortened from 32 to 27 kilometers. This event serves as the final stage of the Circuito Trail dei Parchi dell’Emilia. The race is organized by Francesco Misley of Mud & Snow and aims to expand into a larger national circuit in the coming years.
