Italian Sprint Rowing Championships held in Gavirate

The Italian Sprint Championships and the National Meeting for various age categories took place in Gavirate from September 11 to 13. The event featured approximately 1,300 athletes representing 91 clubs and regional committees, competing over 500-meter distances.

Canottieri Casale saw success with two of its three crews reaching the semifinals. Giorgia Lutri qualified for the semifinals in the Women's Over 17 single, while Giacomo Borella also reached the semifinals in the Over 17 single. Borella and Samuele Morandi competed in the Men's Over 17 double but finished 18th in the qualifications.

Cus Ferrara Canottaggio also reported strong performances across its youth and competitive teams. In the Cadet category, Sergej Pettini and Pietro Graziadio earned two gold medals and one silver in the double. Viola Taddei and Bianca Saltarelli secured one gold and two silver medals. Dario Crupi contributed with a silver in the eight and a bronze in the double. These athletes are set to transition to the competitive team next season.
