Italian State Police launch cyberbullying prevention campaign in Caltanissetta
The Italian State Police (Polizia di Stato) has launched ‘Una Vita da Social – Action Week,’ an extraordinary awareness and prevention initiative aimed at combating violence stemming from social networks and digital communication platforms.
In Caltanissetta and San Cataldo, the Cyber Security Operational Section organized events at three schools, reaching approximately 350 middle school students. The sessions focused on critical issues including bullying, cyberbullying, sextortion, and the non-consensual distribution of intimate images or videos.
This initiative is part of the 14th edition of the ‘Una Vita da Social’ educational campaign, which was initiated in Rome following recent incidents of violence involving minors. The program aims to promote safer and more conscious use of digital tools and will continue in the coming months to reach thousands of young people across the country.
