Italian students earn top honors in university thesis and high‑school exams

Alessia Fasolo received a master’s degree with full marks and academic honors from the University of Messina. Her thesis, titled “From the Caserío to the Super Bowl: colonialism, identity and resistance in Bad Bunny’s music,” examined the sociocultural impact of the Puerto‑Rican star.

At the Ten. Col. G. Familiari Institute in Melito di Porto Salvo, 16 students achieved perfect scores on the state maturity exams, and three of them were awarded the distinction of lode. The school’s director praised the results as evidence of strong teaching and student dedication.
