Italian students engage with robotics and industrial technology

Students from various Italian educational institutions have participated in specialized workshops and visits to explore the practical applications of robotics, artificial intelligence, and mathematics.

At the IIS Denina Rivoira Pellico in Saluzzo, students took part in the “Combo Robospazio” online laboratory. This initiative, promoted by the Agnelli Foundation in collaboration with Comau, utilizes gamification to teach mathematics and robotics. Through the programming of virtual robotic arms, students applied concepts related to three-dimensional space, Cartesian coordinate systems, and the fundamental principles of GPS.

In Varese, students from the Ferraris Scientific High School visited Beko’s X-LAB technological hub. The visit focused on the impact of digital innovation on modern production processes, including collaborative robots (cobots), artificial intelligence for quality control, and humanoid robotics. The program emphasized the relationship between human workers and technology, specifically how automation and ergonomics can improve industrial working conditions.
