Italian students undergo emergency management training

Students in Italy are participating in practical emergency management training sessions organized by civil protection agencies and local organizations.

In Aprilia, students from the Matteotti Comprehensive Institute engaged in interactive lessons led by the Civil Protection, Local Police, and the Italian Red Cross. The training focused on responding to earthquakes, fires, and extreme weather events. Participants learned about municipal risk areas, alert levels (yellow, orange, and red), and the contents of an emergency kit.

In the Ferrara and Bondeno regions, students from the Giosuè Carducci Institute participated in a two-day program in Santa Bianca. This initiative, promoted by Lions Alert, included hands-on exercises such as setting up field tents, managing hydraulic risks with sandbags, search and rescue operations with canine units, and first aid training. The program aimed to provide students with practical knowledge regarding radio communications and direct citizen contact during emergencies.
