Regarding traditional Italian delis, highly rated establishments in the United States include San Francisco’s Molinari Delicatessen, a staple since 1896 known for imported meats, and New York City’s Di Palo’s Fine Foods, a family-operated business since 1925 recognized for its house-made mozzarella and cured meats.
