Italian Summer Concerts Draw Thousands in Ancona and Montesilvano

Italian singer Emma Marrone performed in Piazza Cavour, Ancona on 2 August 2026, attracting around 3,000 fans. The open‑air concert was part of the city’s summer music series, which aims to reach more than 10,000 visitors across five concert days and boost local businesses.

A separate event is scheduled for 12 August in Montesilvano, where pop‑rock star Jovanotti is expected to perform before a crowd of up to 30,000 people. Local authorities have activated extensive security, traffic‑management and venue‑preparation measures, coordinating police, municipal services and the prefecture to handle the large influx of spectators from across Abruzzo and neighboring regions.
